ABOUT THE GUIDES

Offering the best fishing experience possible is our main goal. The three guides that operate this website are full time professional fishing guides. They have all been in business for many years here in the Lower Keys and have participated in area fishing tournaments and places successfully with their anglers too.

CAPT. BOB PAULSON

Capt. Bob Paulson has been fishing for most of his life. His experience ranges from offshore fishing throughout the Caribbean to a 30- year career on the flats of the Lower Keys and the Marquesas. Bob is both a great and knowledgle guide and also fun to fish with. He offers light tackle flats fishing with spinning tackle or fly rod.

CAPT. DOUG KILPATRICK

Capt. Doug Kilpatrick started his fishing career in the West Palm Beach, FL area. Doug has been fishing in the Keys since 1994 as a flats fishing guide. He also has a SeaVee light tackle boat and offers light tackle offshore fishing during the fall and winter months.

CAPT. JUSTIN REA

Capt. Justin Rea started his fishing career in the Eastern Sierra near Bishop, CA. He guided anglers for trout in many of the rivers and spring creeks around Bishop. Rea also spent time guiding in the Lake Tahoe area and on the South Fork of the Snake river in Idaho. Rea worked for South Fork Outfitters and Henry's Fork Outfitters before moving to the Keys full time. His guiding career on the flats began in 2001 after spending an entire season learning the water.

LOREN REA

Loren Rea has been in the Keys since 1996 and moved here from Connecticut because of her love for fishing. Rea assists with the updating of our website and answers the emails and phone calls regarding fishing charters. She is very knowledgable about the seasons and is always up to date on the fishing report. Loren also writes a weekly fishing report that is published in Florida Fishing Weekly.
